Since her parents passed away, Scarlett had never eaten cotton candy.
Scarlett didn't like cotton candy, but when his father gave her cotton candy with an expectant and happy look, she felt that cotton candy were not that bad. She could eat them once a week.
After many years, the person who bought her cotton candy had left her forever.
"What are you looking at?"
Aware that Scarlett was absent-minded, Raymond couldn't help asking.
He found that Scarlett was staring at a cotton candy machine in front of a snack bar.
"Do you want to eat cotton candy?"
Scarlett came out of her trance, withdrew her eyes, and glanced at Raymond with a smile. "Are you going to buy me some?"
It was the first time she had asked Raymond for something. Seeing Scarlett's dazzling smile, he overflowed with tenderness.
"Yes."
Even if Scarlett wanted that snack bar, he would buy it for her.
Yet the street was crowded. A long line of people were queuing for cotton candy outside the snack bar.
