Scarlett and Raymond gradually walked away from the crowd. Along the street, many stores had the Couple’s Day promotion posters on the doors.

Occasionally they came across vendors selling roses on the street. Scarlett and Raymond's car was parked on Couple Street, so they had to go back to Couple Street to pick up their car.

There was an event at Couple Street in the evening. It was even livelier than during the daytime.

Hearing the girl call him "uncle", Raymond’s face darkened.

Scarlett curled up the corners of her lips with a slight smile, standing there quietly and looking at the girl, and she did not say a word.

"She's not my girlfriend."

Raymond's answer made the girl embarrassed. Glancing at Scarlett and then

at Raymond, the girl felt confused. 'Why would such a pretty girl be someone's mistress?'

"Excuse me. Today is Couple's Day. Would you like to buy a rose to cheer the lady up?" The girl was bold. Although she felt awkward, in order to sell out her roses, she plucked up her courage and asked again.

Scarlett was amused. She lifted her hand and took the rose from the girl's hand. "It's Couple's Day. It's reasonable for me to ask for a rose from you, isn’t it?"

When Scarlett asked the question, she looked at Raymond with her head tilted, her slightly curled eyes shining like stars reflecting the streetlight.

Raymond clutched her palm a bit tighter and asked, "How much is it?"

Hearing Raymond's words, the girl hastily replied, "Fifteen dollars a rose."

"How much would it cost if I took all of these?"
