Actually, Scarlett was not very hungry. After he said that, she started to feel hungry. "Okay."
Raymond helped her to open the lid of the porridge. Then, Scarlett walked over to him. As she lifted her hand to take the spoon from Raymond, she touched his sleeve and found it a little cold.
Scarlett raised an eyebrow and reached out to touch his sleeve. "Why is your sleeve wet?"
Raymond looked down. "When I stepped out of the private room earlier, a waiter was carrying wine that spilled on my sleeve."
Raymond didn't want to mention Caroline to Scarlett because it would upset Scarlett, and then Scarlett didn't question Raymond further.
Scarlett trusted Raymond.
Besides, if Raymond really wanted to hook up with other women, he had plenty of opportunities to do so while he was abroad. Besides, he had already returned home and was about to become a father. Therefore, Scarlett believed that Raymond was still very clear about it.
And she knew Raymond was very serious about their relationship.
After retracting her thoughts, Scarlett put her head down and then drank the porridge.
Raymond cooked at home these days, so Scarlett was getting picky about the food.
Although Scarlett thought this bowl of porridge was not bad, she thought the soup was worse than Raymond's cooking.
Since Raymond bought this bowl of porridge for her, Scarlett drank most of it.
But she couldn't finish it. Then she looked up and smiled at Raymond sitting next to her. "Raymond, would you mind helping me finish this bowl of porridge?"
Scarlett had been told not to waste food since she was a child. Although she was an adult now, she always remembered the habits she had developed in her childhood. No matter how good her living conditions had become, she still wasn't used to wasting food.
"Why would I?"
He said as he took the bowl and drank the rest of it with his head down.
Scarlett propped her chin up and looked at
Raymond's face.
