Scarlett had just woken up, and her mind was still a little unclear. Only when she had been sitting up for a long time did she finally regain some of her consciousness.
She pulled the quilt a little up. The room was very quiet. Although Raymond had lowered his voice, she could hear a few of his words, "Wait until my wife wakes up. Yes, put it off for half an hour."
After hearing Raymond's voice, when Scarlett just looked in the direction where the voice had come from, her eyes happened to meet Raymond's.
Raymond hung up and walked toward her. Seeing her sleepy eyes, he moved his dark eyes and touched her cheek. "Are you still
sleepy?"
Scarlett shook her head and rubbed the corner of her eye. "No."
As she spoke, she turned her head to glance out the window. "It's dark now."
Raymond responded. Then, he brought her clothes, put them on the bed, and reached out to carry her.
Suddenly picked up by him, Scarlett subconsciously threw her arm around his neck. Remembering the words she had just overheard, she couldn't help but ask, "Just now, I heard you say something would be put off for half an hour. What was it?"
"You were not awake, so I asked them not to bring the food up here until half an hour later.”
As he put the sweater on her, he said," Raise your arms."
Scarlett raised her arms, and he slipped the sweater along her arms down on her.
Her hair was messed up by the static electricity. Raymond pulled it gently and explained, "I told them to cook Chinese food.”
He removed the hairs on her face, and Scarlett looked at him, feeling something funny. "Now you even don't want me to put on my clothes by myself?"
Raymond lowered his head and glimpsed at her. "I asked you to do something by yourself, didn't I? "
He meant the action of raising her arms.
"Stretch out your arms."
He picked up her coat. Scarlett stretched out her arms, and he put the coat on her.
With her upper body dressed, Scarlett snatched her pants and pushed him with a feeling that she didn’t know whether to laugh or cry. "Stop, Raymond. I'm not someone who can't move."
"I'm enjoying it."
