For fear of disturbing Alison, Alexis left as soon as she finished her words.
Before long, the door was knocked again. Thanking that Alexis came back, Alison got up and went to open the door in a hurry.
Surprisingly, the person standing outside was Luis. She froze and then called out," Luis."
"Has Torey solved your problems with the math paper?"
Alison found his remark strange but could not tell exactly. "Yeah, he has."
Luis hummed indifferently.
Without another word, he turned to leave. Alison looked at him and blinked her eyes. After a moment of hesitation, she said, " There is one I don't quite understand. Can you give me some pointers?"
Luis heard it, looked back, and said, "Come over with the paper."
"Oh, okay."
Alison chuckled. Luis was not that hard to coax after all.
She took out the paper and notebook from her school bag before going to Luis's room.
Alison knocked on the door that was not shut and went in after getting his permission.
Because Raymond and Scarlett went on tours frequently, Luis had spent half of the time living in the Lynch's since junior high.
There were a lot of his personal belongings in the room.
A basketball frame was installed beside the desk, and a basketball was lying at the bay window.
The desk was clean and tidy. Sitting on it was a row of programming books.
For the first time, Alison had a closer look at Luis’s room. It was different from her impression of a boy's room, but intuition told her that Luis’s room should be like this.
