Alexa read novels on Sunday till twelve o ' clock at night. On Monday, if her mother had not pulled her out of bed, she would have been late for school again.
Alison had been waiting for five minutes in Persis' house. Mrs. Persis pulled Alexa downstairs. "Hurry up! Alison has been waiting for you for a long time!"
Alexa yawned while walking downstairs, glanced at Alison, and turned her head to look at the clock on the wall, then she quickly became sober. "My God, six forty?"
Mrs. Persis glared at her and said, "I had told you to go to bed early, but you insisted on playing mobile phone late last night! Eat breakfast, and I'll send you to school later!
As Mrs. Persis was saying, she turned her head to Alison. "Alison, would you like to have some more breakfast?"
Alison hurriedly waved her hand. "No, thank you, I am full."
Mrs. Persis knew Alison was shy. She smiled and didn't ask more.
Alexa winked at Alison while eating breakfast. Alison looked at her and could not help lowering her head and laughing.
Mrs. Persis went back to her room to change clothes. Alexa walked up to Alison with a cup of milk. " Alison, do you read novels? I found a wonderful novel last night!"
Alison was a little curious. "I have never read novels. What is its name?"
"I don't remember. Very interesting. I will send it to you later!"
Mrs. Persis came downstairs as they were talking. "Eat quickly. If you are late, Alison has to be late too."
Alexa curled her lips and finished the milk.
"I am full."
Mrs. Persis cast a glance at the fried dumplings on the table. " You did not eat the fried dumplings!"
Alexa pretended not to hear. Mrs. Persis directly picked up a freshness protection package and put the fried dumplings in it. After getting in the car, she directly turned around and threw it to Alexa. "Eat all the fried dumplings!"
