Temptation From Her Ex-husband novel Chapter 1393

Never in her wildest dreams had Alison expected Jacob's sudden confession. As she followed behind Luis, her embarrassment was beyond words.

Luis’ and her bicycles were locked together outside, and the key was kept by Luis.

At a fast pace, Luis soon reached the bicycles. He squatted to unlock them, wrapped the lock around the frame, and got her bicycle out.

They came out at dusk, and now it was dark.

Luis came to her side with her bicycle and then went back to get his.

"What, do you want to go back and accept his confession?"

His words brought Alison back to reality, and she hurriedly shook her head. "No, he... is just a simple classmate to me."

Luis snorted and got on the bike. "Off we go.

"O... kay."

Juanton City was as hot as an oven during the day, but the night breeze was cool.

Luis rode so fast that the wind whistled past. It was a cool night, but he felt hot and dry.

Following behind him, Alison could keep up at first, but two minutes later, she was left far behind.

It was Saturday, and the traffic was heavy. Alison didn't dare to ride her bicycle as Luis did. Luis was farther and farther ahead until he went out of sight.

Alison pursed her lips, wondering if Luis was mad. After all, before this, she claimed that nothing was going on between Jacob and her and that she would stay away from puppy love.

Jacob's confession, however, put her in an awkward position.

Was he upset because of her lie?

With a bee in her head, Alison almost violated traffic regulations. The sight of the red light across the street startled her, and she didn't dare to let her mind wander again.

After getting out of the path, Luis noticed that Alison was not behind him. His brows furrowed as he realized that he had ridden too fast, and Alison wasn't unable to keep up.
