It had been raining for quite a long time. When Alison was about to finish making the leavened dough, the rain eased off a bit.
At that moment, Luis was making a phone call to Blaze in the small living room. He was telling Blaze that it was raining heavily today, so he could not return to the city until tomorrow.
As he was talking, Alison came out of the kitchen with an old umbrella.
Luis glanced at her and put his phone down. "Where are you going?"
"I'm going to get something to eat from the old lady next door." "I'll go with you." Alison smiled as she shook her head. "You don't have to do that. Luis, she's right next door. You can just call out to me from inside the courtyard."
She said as she held her umbrella and ran out of the room.
Luis frowned as he watched her leave the house. After a long time, he picked up the phone again and put it to his ear. "We'll go back tomorrow afternoon. Alison wants to visit her grandmother's grave."
When Blaze heard Luis' words, he didn't mention asking the driver to come and pick them up again. "Okay. Take care."
"We will."
Blaze was relieved to have Luis by Alison’s side.
After hanging up the phone, Luis got up and walked out.
It was still raining outside. He pulled the switch on a tungsten light and found that it was still on and not broken.
When Alison arrived at the neighbor's house, the old couple were watching TV.
The old lady was surprised to see Alison. " Alison?"
"It's me! I came back today to visit my Grandma's grave. And I want to buy some food from you."
The vendors drove to their village every morning to sell pork.
The villagers normally stored grain in each family. And they didn't eat much meat in a year.
