Scarlett raised her eyebrows, "Mhm?"
"Because you divorced Raymond, I should not mention him, right?"
"It's okay. For me, he is like a stranger, and I don't have any feeling for a stranger."
Hearing that, Cindy's admiration for Scarlett was greater. She said, "Scarlett, how do you think of my older brother?"
Scarlett thought for a while, "A promising young man."
"Really?! My brother is very nice."
Of course, Scarlett understood what Cindy implied. She put down the fork and took a sip of the black tea," Cindy, Your brother and Raymond are good friends."
What's more, she was Raymond's ex-wife.
"It doesn't matter. Raymond is not the only good friend of my brother."
Scarlett was kinda speechless. She was surprised by the way how Cindy thought.
Scarlett didn't want Cindy to misunderstand. Before she was about to say something, Cindy added, "But my brother sometimes is very bossy. Honestly, I think you are too good for him."
Suddenly, Scarlett wanted to know Stephen's reaction if he knew what his sister thought about him.
Cindy was very kind and friendly. She complimented Scarlett a lot.
Though Scarlett was quite thick-skinned, she could nearly take it.
They had dinner together after the afternoon tea. At the end, Scarlett sent Cindy home.
When Scarlett pulled over, Cindy felt reluctant to go. She said, "Will you celebrate the Hometown Day in Juanton City?"
"Nah. I will go back to my hometown."
"I see."
