After eating, Alexis left. Scarlett went to Mornet Corporation, where she happened to meet Secretary Lawrence who had just signed a contract with Jared for her.
"Ms. Reed."
Scarlett nodded and took the contract. "Thank you. I'll give you a raise."
Scarlett was very generous. Secretary Lawrence had worked for her for five years. In the second year, Scarlett gave her some company options. In the third year, Secretary Lawrence's basic salary was over one million dollars.
But no one would refuse an increase in salary.
Secretary Lawrence smiled with joy. "Thank you, Ms. Reed."
Scarlett smiled. "By the way, did the Sunrigal Corporation plan to buy the film and television copyright of "Dreamers" some time ago?"
"Yes, the Sunrigal Corporation bid 2.5 million. The Fieroor Corporation Copyright Department is drawing up the contract."
The Fieroor Corporation was a cultural company that Scarlett invested in three years ago. It had developed
well in recent years. Then she added an additional investment of 5 million during the B round of financing and now she held 30% percent of the Fieroor Corporation's shares.
Though, as an investor, she had never participated in the company's daily decision-making, she was notified of such a big sale of IP copyright. And she had veto power.
Scarlett didn't plan to veto the deal, but now she wanted to veto it.
The Sunrigal Corporation, one of the four current media giants, was one of the Smith family's companies. In recent years, it had invested in remakes of many popular series. It was an opportunity for the Fieroor Corporation to develop if it cooperated with the Sunrigal Corporation.
But Alexander was Baymond's friend. If she remembered correctly, Alexander had said she was a man-eating tree and cautioned Baymond to be careful.
"Secretary Lawrence, please tell the manager at the Fieroor Corporation that I don't want to sign the contract with the Sunrigal Corporation. I prefer the Slooworld Corporation."
Secretary Lawrence felt a little surprised. "Ms. Reed, could I know the reason?"
Scarlett raised her beautiful eyes and smiled brightly." Nothing. It's just that I personally don't like the prince of the Sunrigal Corporation."
"Alexander?"
