Raymond moved fast before Scarlett could react.

He kissed her hard as if he wanted to swallow her up.

Scarlett did a double-take and pushed him away fiercely. "What's wrong with you?"

"I knew you would be disgusted with this, but this is the last time. It will never happen again, Scarlett."

His eyes suddenly turned red.

Scarlett's heart lurched. She felt her throat tight.

She was confused about Raymond, who was dating someone else but acted as if obsessed with her. Did he think she was a fool?

Raymond swallowed his embarrassment. "I also wish you happiness."

He didn't want to say so, but he lost to her. She was here to make a clean break with him.
