Scarlett snorted, "I've told you a million times! Raymond, do you think an apology will work?"
Raymond stared at her and he didn't know how to argue with her.
All the past stories were true. Whether he remembered it or not, he did hurt Scarlett.
"I know."
Raymond said slowly.
"You don't know. Raymond, if you really knew, you wouldn't be here."
"Juanton City is not big, even if I do not take the initiative to show up in front of you, we'll run into each other one day."

Scarlett didn't want to talk to him anymore and looked out of the window.
Ten minutes later, the car stopped in front of the villa.
The hail stopped, but it was still raining heavily.
Scarlett looked at Raymond, who was waiting outside with an umbrella. She did not refuse him.
Forget it. It was the stupidest thing to embarrass
oneself.
They walked side by side under an umbrella, without a word. Until they came to the door of the villa, Scarlett opened the door and stood in the doorway. She blocked Raymond, "Thanks for the umbrella."
With that, Scarlett was ready to close the door and turn into the villa. Raymond suddenly called out to her, "Scarlett."
Her hand on the doorknob trembled slightly when she heard him call her. Scarlett looked up and watched Raymond suddenly put away his umbrella. He just stood in the rain and looked at her, "I know I did a lot o f harm to you before, intentionally or unintentionally. I can’t make it happen again. You're right, Scarlett. It's n o use being sorry. It was my fault that I, as a husband, didn't care about you and wasn't on your side the night you were pushed into the swimming pool."
"I know the water in the swimming pool must be very cold that day. But I'd rather you hit me and scold me than ignore me like this."
