Scarlett didn't care about what had happened to Emelia. She just didn't expect Emelia to be desperate and show up at her gate.
Emelia, who was wearing a mask and sunglasses, stopped her in front of her car as she drove out the front gate.
Scarlett stopped her car. She looked at Emelia, who was standing in front of the car, and raised her eyebrows.
Seeing that Scarlett had stopped the car, Emelia walked around to the car window, "Ms. Reed, shall we talk?"
Emelia took off her sunglasses and her eyes were confused and anxious, not as proud as they had been i n their previous encounters.
Scarlett said with a smile, "Ms. Esparza, I don't think w e have anything to talk about, do we?"
Emelia was cornered. She had just come back to the homeland, so she couldn't offend anyone interiorly. But this morning, the Internet was full of dirt on her, and it was obvious that someone was trying to fix her.
Helen said no matter how much money they spent, there was impossible to get rid of the trending topics.
Of all the people she knew, Raymond was the only one with the money and resources to help her.
She dared not go to Raymond, so she went to Scarlett.
People bullied the weak and feared the strong. During her encounters with Scarlett, she felt Scarlett was a coward before. Whatever Emelia did, Scarlett dared not to strike back.
"Ms. Reed, have you seen the trending topics on Twitter this morning? These trending topics were most likely made by Mr. Shaw..."
Scarlett raised her eyebrows, "Ms. Esparza, you should go to Raymond, not me."
Emelia blushed with anger at what Scarlett's had said dryly. She thought Scarlett had done it on purpose. But at this point, she couldn't lose her temper. All she could do was to hold her anger and beg Scarlett, "Ms. Reed, I beg you, please. Shall we talk?"
Scarlett looked at the time, "I'll give you ten minutes."
Emelia nodded gratefully and took a step back. She expected Scarlett to back up the car and invite her into the house to talk. But Scarlett simply got out of the car, closed the car door and stood over her, "Ms. Esparza, what do you want to talk about?"
