When Raymond came upstairs, Scarlett had already poured two glasses of water.
She took a sip and then handed him the other glass.
Raymond took it over, drank up the water, walked to the sofa while loosening his tie, and said, "Scarlett, come here."
Scarlett didn't intend to go, so she said, "I'll go upstairs and change my clothes first."
Because of the meeting with Edmund today, she had dressed up formally. When Raymond hugged her just now, her clothes made her feel not very comfortable.
Raymond tilted his head while looking at her, and he didn't follow her up but remained on the sofa.
After Scarlett went upstairs, he was left alone in the living room on the second floor. When he saw the glass Scarlett had left on the table, he frowned slightly, took out his mobile phone, and called Frank.
Frank was hesitating whether to call Raymond to remind him of the pile of documents to be signed and ask him to come back to the office euphemistically, and he hadn't expected Raymond to call himself at all.
Frank was almost moved to tears when he saw the caller ID, thinking Mr. Shaw was also nice
occasionally!
"Mr. Shaw, what can I do for you?"
"Has the glass been made?"
Frank had been full of anticipation, so he had not expected Raymond to ask about the glass as soon as h e opened his mouth.
He choked for a moment and then replied, "I've already placed the order, but it will be finished the day after tomorrow at the soonest."
Raymond frowned, "Try to get it done as soon as possible! I don't care how much money it will cost."
"... Okay, I got it, Mr. Shaw. This afternoon..."
However, before Frank could finish speaking, Raymond interrupted, "Good! I'm hanging up now."
Looking at his phone, Frank was about to have a mental break.
When Scarlett went downstairs in casual clothes, she saw Raymond hang up the phone, so she raised her eyebrows and asked, "Frank?"
"No," Raymond lied calmly while looking at her.
Scarlett looked at him for a moment and asked," Aren't you sleepy?"
Then, she pointed to the guest bedroom and said, "You should be familiar with the guest bedroom, right?"
