Raymond now realized that he could not reason with Antony, but anyway, he knew Antony's weakness, " Your family won't accept Scarlett."
Hearing Raymond’s words, Antony's face darkened.
Raymond was right. After the Jones incident, Antony’s mother called Antony and told him, though cryptically, that although their family would not demand that Antony married a girl of their class, yet Scarlett had been married before, and was not a tolerant enough woman, so was never the girl Antony's mother would accept as her daughter-in-law.
Antony narrowed his eyes and said in a voice laden with threat, "If you mistreat her again, you'll be sorry!"
Sneering, Raymond replied, "Get yourself a girlfriend."
So that Antony would not always think about stealing his woman!
Antony crushed out his cigarette, "I won't give up unless you two get married.”
Raymond was totally speechless.
What a brazen bastard.
As Antony left, Raymond stared at his back with a grim look on his face and coldness in his eyes.
A cool breeze brushed Raymond's face, as he looked at the third floor of the villa. He wanted so desperately to see Scarlett now, but she was asleep.
It took Raymond twenty minutes to finally suppress his emotion and drive back.
On the other hand, Scarlett slept soundly all night, and didn’t know that Raymond had come to her place last night.
She woke up early at about seven o'clock, remembering that today Cindy would take her graduation photo.
The doorbell rang when she just finished washing up.
It probably was Raymond at this early hour.
She opened the door, and was welcomed by a big bunch of roses. Where did Raymond get so many flowers in the morning?
Scarlett raised her eyebrow in doubt, "Did you do anything wrong, Raymond?”
"We didn't see each other yesterday."
Embarrassed hearing his words, Scarlet took the flowers over, “Cindy would take her graduation photo this afternoon, and I will go and congratulate her."
"I see."
Raymond responded, while his cold eyes fell on Antony, who stood on the balcony on the second floor of the villa nearby.
