Scarlett asked rhetorically, "Oh, Mr. Smith, don't you know what Mornet Corporation does?"

Alexander sensed Scarlett's contempt. "You mean... You came to Mornet Corporation to get their investment?"

Scarlett raised her eyebrows, "Can't I?"

"... Of course! You can."

What the hell! He had made himself such a big fool.

Alexander felt embarrassed. He tried to make it up. " Ahem, have you seen Suny?"

Scarlett nodded. "Yes, Mr. Smith, do you want to see Suny too?"

Alexander gritted his teeth. "Yes, I want to see who this Suny really is. I've asked to meet her several times, but she refused me everytime."

Scarlett thought for a moment. Then she looked at Alexander with a serious look. "Suny is a beautiful woman, and she is very nice. But she has a thing. I heard that she would only see handsome men."

Scarlett paused for a moment. Then she nodded her head deliberately. "She rejected you every time. Maybe you're not her type..."

Scarlett's words were subtle, but Alexander understood her meaning anyway. She was implying that he was not a handsome man.

What the hell! How come this woman became so arrogant after the divorce?

Alexander was choked on his reply. Before he could think of a retort, Scarlett said, "I have things to do. I have to go now! I know that Suny is still at the office. Mr. Smith, you may keep waiting here. Maybe you'll see her later!"

Alexander was now really intrigued by the woman named Suny. He didn't even mind Scarlett saying he was not handsome. He didn't believe he couldn't see Suny today!

"Okay, bye! Thanks!"

Scarlett responded nonchalantly, "Not at all."

Then she headed to her car.

Katherine was with Scarlett the whole time. She had been holding back her laughter so much that her stomach hurt.

When the two got into the car, Katherine couldn't hold back any longer. She burst out laughing.
