Temptation From Her Ex-husband novel Chapter 601

Scarlett didn't stay long at the hospital as she had a meeting at three o'clock in the afternoon.

When Scarlett left, Mrs. Tucker had not returned. Scarlett wanted to ask if those people from Linley’s ex-husband's family had come and made trouble, but she couldn't see Mrs. Tucker, so she had no choice but to ask Secretary Lawrence to investigate it.

"I've got to go, Linley."

"Okay, Scarlett. You don't have to worry about me. I’ll be fine."

The sun shone in through the window and lay on Linley, who looked at Scarlett with a smile. The way Linley smiled reminded Scarlett of Linley in their university days.

Scarlett smiled and nodded, "Okay."

Scarlett looked back, turned and walked out of the ward.

"Excuse, Ms. Reed."

As Scarlett got out of the elevator, Linley's mother, Mrs. Tucker, ran to her.

Scarlett walked over to Mrs. Tucker," What's up?"

Mrs. Tucker shook her head, and her eyes were red. She said to Scarlett, "Linley has been doing very well lately. The doctor said, 'if there's nothing wrong, she should go back home in three months as a normal person.'"

Mrs. Tucker did not expect Linley to become as cheerful as before.

Over these years, Mrs. Tucker had almost forgotten that her Linley used to love smiling.

Knowing what Mrs. Tucker meant, Scarlett said, "This is a good thing.”

"It's all because of you, Ms. Reed. If you didn't help her, Linley's life would really have been ruined. Ms. Reed, there's

nothing we can do for you. I can't repay you for what you did for Linley. I will ask Jesus to bless you every day."

"You don't have to do that. Linley is my friend. She used to help me, didn't she?"

Mrs. Tucker wiped her eyes and said no more, but she was really grateful to

Scarlett. She said to Scarlett, "Anyway, Ms. Reed, our family is very grateful to you." "I'm grateful to Linley, too." Seeing that Mrs. Tucker's eyes were a little red, Scarlett smiled and changed the subject, "By the way, have those people from the Holden family been bothering you and Linley lately?"

Mrs. Tucker froze for a moment and shook her head, "That’s very thoughtful of you, Ms. Reed. They haven't been in front of us lately."

Scarlett nodded, "As soon as she gets better, I'll take Linley to divorce Roland."

"Okay. Thank you, Ms. Reed."

Scarlett smiled, "If you say those words again, you are not treating me as Linley's friend."
