Since that night, Scarlett had rarely seen Jean. At the sight of Jean, Scarlett subconsciously glanced at Raymond. "It seems Mrs. Shaw wants to talk to you."
Jean gave Scarlett a grateful look and said to Tiffany beside her, "Tiffany, wait outside for a while."
Tiffany looked at Raymond and Scarlett with mixed feelings. Tiffany was always arrogant, but she didn’t say no this time. She turned around and went downstairs.
Scarlett smiled. "Then I’ll wait outside too."
She followed behind Tiffany unhurriedly.
As Scarlett walked to the lobby, Tiffany suddenly stopped and looked back at her." Raymond is not my brother. We have absolute evidence, Scarlett."
Scarlett smiled slightly at Tiffany. "So what?"
"He can't give you anything."
They hadn't seen each other for some time. Scarlett had thought Tiffany would become cleverer. Scarlett realized that she had overestimated Tiffany.
Scarlett raised an eyebrow at Tiffany. "I have money and a good future. Will that have any effect on me?"
Tiffany's face stiffened. "Raymond will soon be driven out of Tenton. I tell you this just because you are trying hard to get into the upper class."
Scarlett was amused. "Then thank you, Ms. Shaw."
Scarlett pointed at Jean not far away. Jean looked sullen. "You mother has come out. She seems upset. You'd better go and comfort her."
Tiffany glanced back and saw Jean walking down the stairs.
Although Jean was far from her, Tiffany could see that Jean was unhappy. Jean went fast with a tight face.
Tiffany bit her lip, coming up to Jean." Mom, what did he say?"
Jean glanced at Scarlett, who was looking at her calmly.
Thinking about what Raymond said just now, Jean was even more angry as she saw Scarlett.
Jean could have easily brought Raymond down, but Scarlett was always with
Raymond.
Even though Scarlett's companies were not as powerful as Tenton, she could support Raymond.
