Scarlett raised her eyebrows slightly and answered ambiguously, "Guess."
Raymond gazed at her until the traffic light turned green.
On the way, Raymond didn't speak again.
Scarlett thought he was angry. When they returned to the villa, she couldn’t help asking, "Are you upset?"
She wondered, 'When did he become so petty?'
The next moment, she was pulled into Raymond's arms.
Scarlett leaned on his chest and put her arms around Raymond's waist with a grunt.
"No."
Raymond looked down at her, touched her face, and kissed her on the lips.
Raymond carried her upstairs to the bathroom, put her on the sink, and turned on the shower.
The water was cold at first, sobering Scarlett. She wrapped her arms around Raymond's neck as she smiled at him. "I'm going to Berlinton City tomorrow.”
"I see," he answered.
Scarlett didn't know whether he understood what she said.
The next day Scarlett was woken up by the alarm clock. She opened her eyes, looking at the ceiling. It took her a few seconds to recall that she had to help Linley divorce that jerk today.
