Looking at the elevator that slowly closed, Stephen took out his cell phone and called Raymond.

Raymond, who had just finished a meeting, saw the caller ID and frowned slightly. "What is it?"

He had been ridiculed by Alexander and Stephen recently because he divorced Scarlett. To be honest, h e didn't want to receive a call from either of them at all.

That was because it was unlikely to be good.

However, to his surprise, Stephen asked him, "Ray, do you know what your ex-wife really does?"

Raymond was stunned. What did Scarlett do?

She didn't seem to have a job, but she graduated from a renowned college and majored in finance. However, she seemed to have spent most of her time in the Shaw Residence throughout their three-year marriage.

"She doesn't have a job."

"Are you sure?"

Stephen asked back, but he then hung up.

Raymond looked at his phone and couldn't help but frown.

If he had not divorced Scarlett, he was sure that she did not have a job.

After he and Scarlett got divorced, he realized he never seemed to know her. For example, he didn't know that she would not be as hysterical as other women when she was angry. She just calmly got back at him. He also didn't know that she actually didn't like money as much as he thought she did. At least, she did not want a penny when they divorced.

In the past three years, he just asked Frank to transfer 30,000 dollars every month to the card he gave Scarlett. He did not give her any other money except that.

One day after the divorce, he checked the balance of the card on a whim and found she did not spend any penny of 1.08 million dollars that he had given her in the past thirty-six months.

If Scarlett didn't have a job, how did she afford her daily needs without using a penny of his money?

Instantly, Raymond felt he had been kept in the dark for three years. He suddenly became angry, his face clouding over. He raised his hand and called Frank in on the intercom.

Frank quickly pushed open the door. He thought his boss would talk to him about work. To his surprise, however, Raymond asked, "What was Scarlett's job?"
