Scarlett raised an eyebrow and asked rhetorically, "Ms. Garcia, do you want me to be jealous?"
The smile on Scarlett's face remained the same throughout, and Jasmine couldn't tell if Scarlett got angry or not.
Scarlett was certainly not angry. Although Scarlett first encountered such a woman as Jasmine, she believed she would probably encounter many such women in the future. After all, Raymond was an excellent man, and she was not the only woman with sharp eyes.
But Raymond made the choices, and he chose her. Then the show-up of any woman would not be a threat to her.
If she got angry whenever any other woman who was into Raymond came to compete with her, would she get hyperplasia of mammary glands for that?
Scarlett was not angry but curious how this woman was so confident to come to her.
When Scarlett asked Jasmine the question, for a moment, Jasmine didn't know how to answer.
Jasmine had never met a woman so calm even though she tried to provoke her several times.
"Ms. Reed, I thought you'd get angry. After all, no woman can be cool with it when another woman comes to tell her she likes her boyfriend. Unless--"
Then Jasmine paused a moment, the look in her eyes meaningful, "Unless you don't love Raymond."
"Ms. Garcia." The smile on Scarlett's face faded a bit. Her expression got serious.
Jasmine thought she had finally gotten Scarlett annoyed. She felt excited and sat up straight. Just when she thought Scarlett was about to get angry, she heard Scarlett's bland voice. "Ms. Garcia, may I ask a few questions?"
Jasmine curled her red lips, "What do you want to know?"
Jasmine wanted to know what Scarlett was going to play.
"First question, do you think you're more beautiful than me?"
Jasmine looked at Scarlett's pretty face."..."
She actually wanted to say "yes", but she couldn't. She felt embarrassed.
