After the wedding ceremony, Darrell and Libby were about to toast the guests.
Scarlett and Raymond sat at the front table. Libby and Darrell came over quickly with their glasses.
Scarlett couldn't tell whether Libby loved Darrell, but she guessed that Libby should be very satisfied with Darrell’s family background because Libby always had a bright smile on her face.
After the toast, Libby said to Scarlett specifically before she left, "Scarlett, thank you for coming tonight."
Scarlett smiled, "Ms. Jones, you are very kind."
Libby nodded and smiled as she followed Darrell.
After glancing at Libby's back, Scarlett showed a smile on her face. She was in such a good mood that she drank most of the red wine in her glass.
Although Scarlett may not be regarded as Libby’s friend, she wasn't regarded as the enemy either.
This was a good thing.
The wedding was very grand because it was hosted by the Lancelot family and the Jones family. The meal was made by the invited team of chefs in Clear Waters.
Scarlett was nearly full. She drank two cups of coconut juice before the opening of the feast. Now she wanted to go to the bathroom.
Raymond hadn't seen Jake and other friends for a while. They had a rare opportunity to get together today. Scarlett whispered to Raymond and went to the restroom with her bag.
Once Scarlett left, Alexander asked without hesitation, "Ray, didn't you ask Scarlett to marry you? "
Raymond almost smashed the wine glass in his hand. Alexander knew what he didn't like to hear.
Alexander knew very well that Raymond had failed to get the support of the Tank family. How could Raymond dare to propose to Scarlett now?
Seeing Raymond's sullen face, Alexander felt the thrill of revenge. He sighed and asked knowingly, "Doesn't Rowan like you?"
Raymond looked at Alexander and snorted, "If you want to be beaten, just say it. You don’t need to imply me by saying this.”
