Thanks to Scarlett's company, Rowan really enjoyed this meal.
Much had happened in Juanton City those days, most of which were related to Scarlett.
After lunch, Rowan walked downstairs with Scarlett, leaning on his cane.
Before they went downstairs, Rowan glanced at Raymond, who was about to follow them, "Mr. Shaw, I'm going for a walk with Scarlett. You must be tired. I'll have Larry take you to the hotel."
When Scarlett heard that, she couldn't help smiling.
Raymond looked at her and met her eyes.
She shook her head and beckoned him to obey Rowan.
Scarlett had asked Frank to book a hotel for Raymond before they came to Deeton City. Rowan was good enough to allow Raymond to stay for lunch, but a sleepover was definitely out of the question.
Raymond had the audacity to stay for lunch and clearly upset Rowan. So Rowan kept talking about other men with Scarlett during the meal.
Raymond had to stop pissing Rowan off, or the consequence would be severe.
He watched Scarlett and Rowan fade out of sight and looked back at Larry, "Sorry to trouble you, Mr. Tank. Please take me to the hotel.”
Larry, who stood on the stairs, looked at Raymond and sneered, "You are just being polite, Mr. Shaw. I'm sorry you can't stay the night here."
As he spoke, he went downstairs to the garage, "I'll get the car out. Please wait for a moment."
"Okay."
Then Raymond stepped out of the villa.
Scarlett and Rowan stood by the fishpond in the garden, looking at the fish.
Rowan enjoyed fishing, so most of the fish in the pond were caught and brought back from other places.
Many fish were tiny when he brought them back. After some time in the pond, these fish would eventually be caught and cooked.
