Being aware of saying something wrong, Alexis took t o her heels, leaving Scarlett to face Antony alone.
Antony didn't care and said, "Our family has been abroad all the time, and we have hired someone to take care of the villa regularly. Maybe that person thought we wouldn't come back, so she was careless."
Scarlett nodded understanding^. "No wonder you had no Internet connection that day."
As he spoke, Antony suddenly smiled, "You thought I was a bad man that day?"
Scarlett looked at him, sipped her juice and shook her head, "No."
She just didn't like strangers coming into her space. Even though Antony was her neighbor, she didn't like i t.
Antony didn't ask her any more questions. Scarlett didn't really like to talk to others. Her personality was the opposite of Alexis. She didn't like socializing and making friends very much.
"I'll go sit over there."
As she spoke, Scarlett walked over to the sofa with her juice and sat down.
Alexis had a lot of good friends. There were a lot of people here today. Most of them knew Scarlett, but she didn't know them. Alexis had told them that Scarlett didn't like to socialize, so she sat there, and n o one bothered her.
Mark and Juan arrived here a little late. Seeing Scarlett, Mark gave Alexis a gift, then walked over to Scarlett and said, "Mrs. Reed, you're so early coming here."
Scarlett took a look at him and said, "It's fine. I was just ten minutes ahead of you."
Mark brought her another glass of juice and said," Mrs. Reed, It's the end of the year. You must be very busy."
Scarlett raised her eyebrows and said with a smile," It’s fine. What's wrong? What do you want to do?"
Mark touched his nose sheepishly and said, "I heard Alexis say that you bought a yacht."
