While Raymond wasn't looking, Scarlett got out of bed, "I’m going to wash my face and brush my teeth."

After finishing her words, she turned around and ran straight into the bathroom.

When Scarlett came out of the bathroom, Raymond was already up. He was sitting on the edge of the bed, one hand propping up on his lap, and one hand holding his mobile phone and answering the phone.

Scarlett looked at him but said nothing. She went round to the dressing table and sat down.

Raymond looked sideways at Scarlett and gave a casual answer to the person on the other end of the phone. Then he hung up, got up and went into the bathroom. After the two of them had bathed, they went to bed.

Neither of them got up early the next morning. Although the apartment was cleaned regularly, there was no one had lived here for a long time so there was little food in the refrigerator.

Scarlett was about to suggest that they could go out for breakfast when the doorbell rang.

She subconsciously glanced back at Raymond, and he handed her a glass of warm water, which was in his hand, "I have ordered breakfast."

Scarlett reached out her hand to take the glass and smiled. She lowered her head and took a sip of the warm water. Then she walked over to the table and sat down.

Soon Raymond walked in with breakfast in his hand.

They finished their breakfast and then left the apartment at almost 10 o'clock.

Last night, Raymond said they would get their marriage certificates today, but Scarlett thought it was a tongue-in-cheek remark. She didn’t expect him to take her to the City Hall after breakfast.

Scarlett stopped thinking after the car had stopped. She looked up at the City Hall across the street, and she turned to Raymond beside her, "Here we are."

Raymond unfastened his seat belt and gave her a look, "Yeah, here we are."

After he finished his words, he got out of the car. He walked to the passenger door and opened the car door for Scarlett," Honey, get off the car."

Scarlett looked up at him and reached out her hand. Then she put her hand in his and got off the car.
