The Adorable Twin’s Sticky Daddy novel Chapter 126

'What happened?

Why did daddy lose mommy?'

Bobby sadly thought to himself, tossing and turning in bed and unable to fall asleep.

While everyone in the house was already asleep soundly, he got up stealthily.

And on his way downstairs, he tiptoed carefully before running out of the villa towards the back gate by the garden.

At the same time, Nancy and Nadia had already gone to bed.

Although her mother seemed completely fine, Nadia knew that something was off about her.

Unhappy as she was, the young girl didn't dare ask her mommy and kept mum until they prepared to go to bed.

She was afraid that Nancy would be bereaved if she were to dig around whatever was bothering her.

So, although her mother was already peacefully sleeping, Nadia was still wide awake in Nancy's arms.

And while she blankly stared at the white ceiling, a knock suddenly rang on the door.

Curious as to whoever it was, Nadia slipped off from the bed, ran to the door with bare feet, and opened the door.

"Bobby?! Hey! Why are you here?" Although Nadia was surprised, she was still able to whisper in a low tone. trying not to wake Nancy.

Meanwhile. Bobby wore an aggrieved look and complained, "Daddy is drunk, and he's not talking to me anyone." For a while, he paused to gather his thoughts. Then, with a pout, he added, "I miss mommy, so I came here to see her."

"She's already asleep. Do you think mommy and daddy can still be together?" Nadia asked, now frowning too. She finally understood that Nancy and Charles were taking time apart, which was probably why her mother was sulking all day.

"Of course!" Bobby firmly replied with quite a loud voice. So, in an attempt to keep Nancy from waking up, Nadia placed her index finger on his lips, signaling to keep it down.

At that moment, Bobby hoped for nothing but to bring their mom and dad together. The poor boy was obviously not used to seeing them apart.

Seeing the brooding face of her younger stepbrother, Nadia asked in a low voice, "Shall we wake up mommy?"

"No, it's okay." Bobby shook his head while still sporting a long face.

"Come to my room to sleep," Nadia immediately suggested, taking his hand.

Then the two of them walked into the bedroom where Nadia found Bobby's pajamas.

After the boy had changed his clothes, they lay down on the bed on both sides of Nancy, and eventually fell asleep after some time.

The look of worry and concern seemed to have left their angelic faces the moment they shut their eyes.

At the same time, as Nancy slept soundly out of exhaustion, she had no idea that Bobby had crashed into their house that night.

Not until the next morning did she realize that Bobby was sleeping beside her.

The boy's tiny hands were wrapped around her neck while his head rested on her shoulder.

Different from his anguish face last night, he was now flushing while his eyebrows stretched comfortably.

And as she looked at him with a light smile, Nancy felt a little sad. She recognized that she would eventually have to say goodbye to Bobby if she and Charles were really to break up for good.

She gently kissed him on his cheek and carefully got out of bed, not wanting to disturb his dream.

Then she glided towards the kitchen and started making breakfast while the kids were still asleep.

While occupied cooking, Nancy thought whether the Fu family was aware that Bobby left their house. If he came here in the middle of the night by himself, then Charles and Angelina must have been sick worried.

So, to stop herself from feeling anxious, she picked up her phone and sent a message to Charles, informing him that Bobby was in her house.

To her surprise, he replied at once, "Send him back immediately."

What a tone! It was too stiff!

Nancy even doubted if it was even from Charles.

But it actually was his phone number, and she perfectly knew that no one would dare to use his phone or even to pose as him.

He must still be angry with her for leaving him on the day of their supposed engagement. But knowing that it was already said and done, Nancy just smiled bitterly.

She then stood up and walked into the bedroom to wake the kids. "Kids, time to get up for breakfast."

The first one to open her eyes was Nadia. And with a grimacing face, she stretched her arms and greeted, "Good morning, mommy!"

"Good morning, honey," Nancy greeted back while walking towards the drawer to grab some clothes for her daughter.

At the same time, Bobby had already woken up, but he was unwilling to open his eyes.

The poor kid thought that he would be sent back home the moment he opened his eyes.

And because he didn't want to leave, he kept them shut and pretended to lay asleep.

But little did he know, his eyelids trembled uncontrollably, and the twitching didn't escape Nancy's sight.

So with a grin on her face, Nancy walked over and kissed his face. "Bobby, it's time for breakfast."

Even with that, the young boy still didn't say anything and continued his pretense.

"Bobby, I know you're awake. I have a gift for you. Do you want it?" As she spoke, she took out a chocolate from the drawer on the nightstand.
