The Adorable Twin’s Sticky Daddy novel Chapter 229

Puzzled, Bobby looked at Charles and asked, "Dad, don't you want to have another baby?"

"Bobby, you ask too many questions. Daddy needs to cook. Tell Nadia to wash up and get ready breakfast!" Charles wanted to answer Bobby's question, but he could not. He was too young of a parent to know what to say.

The man wanted to stay at home that day. Charles could use some time to read the parenting books that he had bought.

Bobby didn't bother his dad with any more questions. He swiftly ran into Nadia's room. The boy woke his sister up and said, "Nadia, get up. I have terrible news. Daddy didn't sleep with Mommy last night. It seems that he doesn't want another baby... What should we do now?"

Nadia hesitantly looked at Bobby. After a while, she slowly said, "Then let it be. They already have us!"

"This can't be! All the other children in our class have younger siblings. Why can't we have one?" Bobby said adversely.

"I am your younger sister, am I not?" Nadia then asked, "Do you dislike me, Bobby?"

Nadia grieved at the thought of Bobby disliking her. Her eyes began to swell with tears.

"What? You are my sister, Nadia. Of course I like you! I just want more siblings; that's all. Don't you think little babies are so cute? Besides, I heard that more children makes Daddy and Mommy's relationship better. Don't you want them to have a better relationship?"

Bobby had said so much because of his annoyance. The sheer volume of information got Nadia stunned.

The girl repeatedly nodded and said, "Of course I want their relationship to be better and better! But what can we do, Bobby?"

Although Nadia constantly urged her mother to marry Charles, the girl was not as persistent as Bobby in persuading his dad to conceive another baby.

Seeing how piqued Bobby felt, Nadia could only listen.

"I have an idea. From tonight on, we will overlook their sleeping arrangements. If they won't sleep in the same room, then we will punish Mommy and Daddy," Bobby said with an enormous smile, as if coming up with a million dollar idea.

"How would we punish them?" Nadia asked.

"Let's take turns in sleeping with them!" Bobby snickered and said, "You are not allowed to disagree!"

"I agree. I absolutely agree!" Nadia responded.

"Don't tell Daddy and Mommy, okay? I will never talk to you again if you don't follow our plan!" Bobby threatened.

Nadia intently shook her head and said, "Okay, Bobby. I won't tell them anything about it."

"Okay, let's do it!"

To seal their deal, Nadia and Bobby pinky-swore on their secret.

Charles was frightened by the boy's persistence. He had actually followed Bobby to Nadia's room, and thus heard the two kids conspire to get a little sibling. 'That boy is so stubborn,' the man thought to himself.

"Nadia, get up and wash yourself. Hurry!" Bobby deliberately shouted.

Bobby wanted his father to hear what he said.

Charles hurried into the kitchen and pretended to have been there all the while.

The kids came out of the bedroom and then went straight to the bathroom.

Charles had mixed feelings about what he had just heard. He actually didn't know how to face his children's plan.

'Ugh! There should be an exam that people take before they're allowed to have children,' Charles thought to himself. Deep inside, the man knew that he would fail that test.

He had always wanted to discuss child-rearing with Nancy, but he didn't know how to start the conversation.

Nancy stood by the door and watched Charles cook. "Honey, please take these to the table," the man said as he handed Nancy an expertly designed plate of eggs.

She gladly took it to the dining table and said, "Thank you, Charles."

Charles was so deep in this thoughts that he didn't answer back.

She simply shrugged it off. 'Perhaps Charles didn't hear me,' Nancy told herself.
