The Adorable Twin’s Sticky Daddy novel Chapter 347

Nancy shrugged. "It's nothing."

"Mommy, did Daddy make you feel bad again?" Bobby asked coldly.

"I... I'm just a little hot. I need to get some fresh air outside. Don't think about it too much," Nancy replied as if nothing had happened.

"No, mommy. I think you're hiding something from us!" Bobby frowned, but he knew he wouldn't get an answer so he just went to the bedroom.

With his legs crossed, Charles looked at his phone with a frown.

"Daddy..."

"Yes, Bobby?" Charles looked up at Bobby with a straight face.

"What happened between you and mommy? Mommy seems to be very unhappy, and you, daddy... you also look sad!" Bobby was standing right in front of Charles. He raised his head and stared at his father stubbornly.

Charles was furious, but he was a man who had already gone through so much in life. He had to examine the situation wisely. After all, he was yet to figure out the real score between Edward and Nancy. It would be inappropriate to prematurely disclose anything to the children.

And even if there were really some secrets between Nancy and Edward, it shouldn't affect the children's mood and wellbeing.

So he raised his hand and rubbed Bobby's little head. "Bobby, everyone gets into a bad mood every now and then. Daddy is just a little..." Charles was scrambling for words so he just shrugged and said, "I'm just in a bad mood."

"But daddy, even if you're in a bad mood, you shouldn't lose your temper with mommy. Wasn't it you who told us to be good to mommy? You also said that you would marry mommy. Have you forgotten about that, daddy?" Bobby reasoned out adamantly.

"Bobby, I'm good to your mommy. I love her. You know that!"

It was true. He got a little emotional, but... he loved Nancy! That never changed!

"Daddy, even though you're in a bad mood, you can't ignore mommy. Humph, if you keep on doing this, I will take mommy with me..." Bobby threatened.

"No, Bobby. You can't do that. I'm your daddy. You shouldn't push me away from mommy and Nadia. Do you understand?" Charles' demeanor softened in front of Bobby.

"Daddy, it's okay. Nadia and I won't reject you, but you should talk nicely to mommy now. Just be kind and gentle with her!" Bobby really hoped that his mommy and daddy could live happily together. After going through so much, they should not be separated again!

After saying his piece, Bobby shook Charles' hand and walked out.

"You are smart, daddy. You should know that women need to be coaxed!" Bobby said as he shook Charles' hand.

"I... Okay." Those words were so familiar. He thought he had already heard them before.

Was it Jay who told him?

Indeed, it was him!

It was a long time ago before he even met Nancy. When he saw women around Jay, he would ask him, "Those women are after your money, aren't they?"

Jay shook his head. "Not exactly. You are wealthy yourself, but why aren't women throwing themselves at you?"

Charles blurted out, "No way. That's because I don't like women!"

Jay was shocked. "You don't like women? Ha-ha, Charles, are you functional? If you are functional and you don't have any interest in women..."

With his index finger pointing at his head, Jay said, "There's something wrong in here!"

"Go away! You are insane! You can't live without women! " Charles sneered.

"What are you talking about? I'm telling you, it's the other way around. And it's not only because of my money, but more because of me!" asserted Jay proudly.

Charles glanced at him with disdain. "I don't know what they see in you. All you have is a handsome face and a pair of amorous eyes. Oh, I see. Your amorous eyes are particularly seductive for women?"

"Totally wrong!" Putting down the goblet a thud, Jay explained seriously, "Women can't get enough of me. It's not because I'm handsome, nor because my eyes are seductive. It's because..." He pointed at his mouth and said, "I can coax them. Think about it. Once I coax them, they will be happy. If they are happy, they won't refuse me!"
