The Adorable Twin’s Sticky Daddy novel Chapter 369

Edward stood up as he saw the children. Smiling at them, he said, "You're back already?"

"Yes, Uncle Edward. Where have you been?" Bobby and Nadia asked in unison.

"1..." Edward stopped himself from answering. He didn't know how to answer their question, so he decided to change the topic instead. "I've only been gone for a few days. Why are you suddenly calling me 'Uncle Edward'?"

Bobby and Nadia looked back at Charles tentatively and then whispered, "Uncle Edward, if we call you 'Dad', Daddy will be upset. We decided to call you 'Uncle Edward' from now on."

Edward shrugged. "I don't mind if you call me that. I like it! My clothes are a bit dirty so I have to go and take a shower. When I'm finished, let’s talk again, okay?" he suggested.

"Wait Uncle Edward, where have you been? You haven't told us yet!" Bobby asked again.

"I..." Edward paused to think. "I've been catching bad guys these days," he said meagerly.

"Uncle Edward is a hero! You're awesome! We want to be a hero and catch bad guys too! Can we go with you, Uncle Edward?" Bobby pleaded.

"I guess you can join me," Edward agreed.

"Uncle Edward, can you tell us how you caught the bad guys? We want to hear your story!" Nadia exclaimed.

"Sure kids, but I really have to go and take a shower now. Let's talk about it later, okay?" Edward thought the two children were asking him too many questions.

He wouldn't be able to carry on with his stories.

However, he couldn't mention anything to the children either, so he decided it would be better to hide from them in the bathroom.

"We'll be waiting, Uncle Edward!" Nadia said as she let go of his hand to let him leave.

"The water's ready for you, Edward. Put the clothes in a pile and I’ll wash them for you," Nancy instructed as she walked out.

She felt sorry for him when she saw his embarrassed look.

Understanding how she felt, Edward smiled reassuringly, "No, just throw them away. I can change into something different."

"Okay," she agreed.

Even when she was abroad, Edward had never let her wash clothes. Occasionally, he would even wash her clothes for her.

Edward entered the bathroom and closed the door.

Bobby and Nadia whispered to each other.

"Bobby, I want to catch bad guys with Uncle Edward," she said to him. She was curious about what Edward had been up to, and had always admired him.

"Me too! Let's ask him about it later. As long as Uncle Edward agrees, Mommy and Daddy have to let us go!" Bobby agreed.

"Sounds like a plan. We'll talk to him. I think he'll agree!" Nadia said firmly.

Nancy was in the kitchen preparing dinner for everyone.

Charles came over to her.

Nancy took no notice of Charles and waited for him to speak first.

Gently wrapping his arms around her waist as she cooked, he said, "Nancy, I know Nadia is my child. I also know my mom had something to do with this. Give me some time and I'll sort everything out!"

"Charles, just give it up," Nancy said softly.

"I can't! I need you with me on this, Nancy! Promise me you won't give up!" Charles almost pleaded.

Nancy sighed softly in reply.

If she were to be honest, she didn't want to give up either!

After he was clean and showered, Edward exited the bathroom with a big smile on his face.

"Dinner's ready, Edward," Nancy told him with a smile.

"Okay," he replied as he walked towards her.

At the sight of Edward, Bobby and Nadia put their chopsticks back down on the table and said, "Uncle Edward, kiss!"
