The Adorable Twin’s Sticky Daddy novel Chapter 93

As expected, Bobby received a lot of praise from Charles.

Angelina didn't stop. During lunch break of the second day, Nancy saw Angelina accompanied by a woman as they both wandered around the hospital.

It was easy to tell that Angelina's female companion was from a rich family. Her appearance was elegant and dignified. With the way she presented herself, Nancy assumed something. There must be a bachelor son her family.

Her intentions were as clear as dayₒ Angelina would never give up until she had Nancy married off.

Knowing that only made her refuse to show herself to the two. Wanting to get out of that situation, Nancy pondered on what she should do when Hiram suddenly appeared.

He whispered in Angelina's ear. Nancy was too far to hear what he said.

As if she panicked, Nancy saw Angelina leave in a hurry.

Once she disappeared, Nancy let out a sigh, a wave of relief hitting her.

She assumed that Hiram must have told Angelina something important for her to leave. Unbeknownst to her, Charles was aware of Angelina's real motive to arrange a blind date for Nancy so he had Hiram to keep an eye on Angelina.

In the meantime, Charles was with Frederic.

"Charles, the new project needs a lot of money. You must be careful to not make any mistake. Those senior shareholders will watch over you like a leash of foxes," Frederic said.

"I'm aware of that. They intend to make money or else they wouldn't have passed it so easily." Charles replied.

"That's right. They will be delighted if they earn money. If they lose it then they will make things hard for you," Hardy said worriedly.

"Then they can either withdraw from the group or sell their shares to me. I'm waiting for that day!" Charles said dismissively, ignoring Hardy's warnings.

"You can't say that. Many of them have been working with me. We can't let others say we are ungrateful. Remember it!" Frederic scolded.

"As long as they don't mention it, then I won't do anything to them," Charles said after he took a sip from his tea.

"Since you are in charge of the business, I don't worry about it. However, how about your marriage?" Frederic asked.

The question stunned Charles. He didn't understand. After all this time, why would his grandfather seem to care about his marriage again since he had Bobby?

"I am not in a hurry about it," Charles said flatly.

"Since you say that is not in a hurry, then what are you doing with that Nancy? Don't demean yourself, understand?" The name uttered filled the room with silence. Hardy was not a man of patience, otherwise, he would have stood Angelina who was in her menopause.

Charles was startled; sweat trickled down from his face at the mention of her name. "Nancy, how do you know about her? Did my mother tell you?" "Your mother didn't even need to tell us. All the reports and pictures have been sent to us. If I didn't ask you, how long were you going to hide it from us?" Hardy was so furious that he almost wanted to bang the table. He clenched his fists as he tried to contain his anger.

"So, did you ask me to talk about this new project on purpose? Did you also ask my mother to find a man for Nancy?" Charles asked seriously.

"Well, Hardy, you are such a hothead. Why did you talk to him about it? Yes, it's me who asked you to take charge of the new project. However, what do you mean by finding Nancy a new man?" Frederic asked.

Charles paused; his mind connected the dots about as he tried to process things. Once he understood everything, he nodded.

"If this has nothing to do with you, then it must be you who put pressure on my mother, right?" Charles asked, his eyes focused on Hardy.

"How could you say that?" Hardy snapped at Charles, furious at the accusation thrown at him.

With a snort, Charles called his assistant and told her that he needed to go back as soon as possible.

Frederic and Hardy were stunned at the man's actions, not knowing what to do.

"So you're going back to the country before the new project is settled? Charles, isn't such a decision too rash?" Frederic asked angrily.

To the CEO of a company, business should be the priority. His grandson focusing on something different could put their business at risk.

"Charles, I agree with your grandfather. Apologize to him now!" Hardy scolded.

As if they were talking to a brick wall, Charles snorted and didn't respond to them. He called his assistant and asked her to make arrangements for his return to the country.

When Charles left the vicinity, Frederic and Hardy exchanged glances with each other, completely silenced by the man's absurd decision.
