He returned to his senses and looked at the two women coming out to the balcony.

James reassured them gently. "You don’t have to do anything for me. Don't worry. I'll keep you two safe while I'm here."

The two nodded simultaneously and bowed gratefully. “Thank you."

James sighed in relief and walked back into the room.

The twins followed after him.

James sat on the sofa while the twins sat opposite him.

"Sir, my name is Aphrodite, and this is my younger sister, Venus."

"Mhm." James nodded absentmindedly.

Having not slept for the past few days, James was exhausted. He spoke to the sisters, "You two can just stay in the room, but don’t move around unnecessarily. I’m a little sleepy, so I'll be resting for a while."

Aphrodite and Venus looked at each other and nodded in reply to James.

James walked to the bed and lay down.
