“Hah.” the man in the highest seat snorted disdainfully. “Your job is to follow orders, Jacopo. You don’t have the right to ask all these questions. If you have any objections to His Holiness’ decree, you may go to the Ancestral Holy Site and speak to His Holiness in person.”

After speaking, the man casually tossed the book aside and vanished from the hall. Jacopo picked up the red book and looked at it solemnly. He never expected to lose his position after the universes merged together.
