Morangorin fled speedily, and James almost lost track of him. However, James persisted and caught upto him in the depths of the Unknown Region.
James grabbed Morangorin’s wings, slapped his head, and reprimanded him, ‘You think you can run?”
Morangorin said with dissatisfaction, “Who’s running? Do you think I would run? What kind of joke is that? I’m simply training a bit. What if I encounter danger in the future and can’t run fast enough? Go on. Tell me what you need from me.”
James went straight to the point, saying. “There’s an Ursa from the Primordial Realm Era hiding in the outside universe. He’s a ticking bomb, and I need to eliminate him. You need to help me.”
“I won’t be able to.”
Morangorin immediately refused to help.
“Are you kidding, brat? An Ursa that existed since the Primordial Realm Era is definitely an Acmean. How do you expect me to help you? I don’t want to die, so forget about it. I absolutely won’t be able to help you. I’ll give you some fruits.”
After speaking, Morangorin took out three fruits and threw them to James.
“Alright, we’re even.”
Then, Morangorin tried to escape.
However, James grabbed his wings again.
Morangorin struggled to break free and shouted, “Let me go, you brat!!!”
“You should understand how serious this is, Morangorin. After my preliminary investigation, this powerhouse of the Ursa Race has been injured and hasn’t recovered to his
peak. It’s the perfect chance to get rid of him. If he recovers, it’ll be very hard to kill him.”
James tried to persuade him, explaining the seriousness of the matter.
Morangorin finally stopped trying to break free.
He raised his little claw and touched his chin.
“What you’re saying makes sense. How can we let other people dictate our worlds? Alright, I’ll help you. Go ahead and tell me how I can help.”
James was relieved by his words.
