“Balchae’s true form was of a Lernaean Hydra. Waspen highly valued him and passed on his cultivation inheritance to Balchae. Balchae also holds a certain amount of prestige within Mount Carslegh.”
James rubbed his temples and asked, “Where is Balchae right now?”
Dahlia replied, “According to the information I’ve gathered, he’s currently not in Mount Carslegh and has gone to a small world called the Space Realm.”
“Oh? What is he doing there?”
“My intel tells me that some kind of wonderful Empyrean herb has appeared in the Space Realm, inside of the Space Race’s territory. Balchae went there in order to take it,” answered Dahlia.
James immediately stood up and said, “Good! Then, we’ll carry out our plans right away. Let’s head to the Space Realm, find Balchae, and capture him. Then, I’ll take on his identity and return to the Hopeless City to see if I’m able to release your villagers.”
“Okay!” Dahlia nodded.
After hashing out the details, the two left the Hopeless City and headed straight for the Space Realm. On the way there, Dahlia briefed James on the Space Realm and the Space Race.
The Space Realm was a tiny world in the Greater Realms and was not very popular. The Space Race was also relatively weak compared to the other races in the Greater Realms. They were so underpowered that they did not even have a single Nine-Power Macrocosm Ancestral God.
“From my understanding, the Space Race used to be extremely powerful in the past.”
“Oh, is that so?”
“Yeah. The Greater Realms had always competed among themselves for leadership over the rest. In the current age, none of the other races are able to take over the Greater Realms, not even the powerful Dooms nor the Ursas. However, there was a certain period where the Space Race unified and ruled over the Greater Realms.”
