Dempsey had existed since the Primordial Realm Era. Back then, the Human Race was thriving and had many ancestral books.
Thus, Dempsey was equipped with a lot of knowledge.
For James to successfully mix into the Doom Race, he would have to hide his human aura, obtain a copy of the Doom Race’s aura, and transplant it onto his soul aura.
James was also well-informed but had never heard of these miraculous herbs.
He asked, “Where can I find the Herb of Reclusion and Soulblue?”
Dempsey shook his head lightly and said, “I’m not sure. Although they’re only Macrocosm Herbs, they’re relatively rare. Perhaps only a few major families will grow them in their plantations.”
Daegus, who was beside them, said, “How about I inform all our intelligence personnel throughout the Greater Realms to inquire about these two Empyrean herbs? If any of them can provide us with intel about it, we can devise a plan to obtain them.”
James nodded lightly and said, “Alright. In our current circumstances, it’s the best way to go.”
“By the way, Mr. Dempsey, please look at Bruce.”
Daegus immediately let out Bruce from his storage treasure.
Bruce lay down on the ground weakly and was unconscious.
Dempsey walked over, squatted down, and checked on Bruce’s injuries.
His expression gradually became solemn.
After a while, he sighed.
Everyone in the hall immediately knew the results.
Dahlia was unwilling to give up yet and asked, “Is there really nothing you can do, Mr. Dempsey?”
Dempsey shook his head and said, “He exhausted almost all his bloodline power and Soul Power. There’s only a little bit left lingering in his body. He’s only alive because of his strong resolve to live. Unfortunately, there’s nothing I can do to save him. Although he might be able to persist a little longer, he’ll be a crippled man and will spend his remaining time in bed.”
Bruce paid a hefty price to try and save his friends.
As a result, he was crippled.
