“Drag her out and execute her.”
The brute was evidently displeased.
“Uhm…”
The person in charge of Springwind Pavilion was in a bind. She whispered, “To be honest with you, Sir, though she’s a lowly human, she has someone powerful backing her. If you kill her, I’ll be put in a difficult position. You may also be troubled by this.”
Hearing this, the man was displeased. He was a general of the Stone Race. The Stone Race had sent its forces to the Desolate Galaxy. While he was off-duty, he specially came here to look around. Originally, he wanted to have some fun. Now, he was no longer in the mood to do so.
“Someone powerful backing her? Hmph! Do you know who I am?”
The man said coldly, “I’m the deputy leader of the Stone Race’s vanguard. Who dares goes against the wishes of the Stone Race in the Stone Realm?”
Upon hearing this, the person in charge shivered in fear. Neither she nor Springwind Pavilion could afford to antagonize the Stone Race.
She immediately ordered, “Drag Xandrella Quitterie out and execute her!”
Immediately, a few guards walked in.
Meanwhile, Xandrella simply lay on the ground. Her eyes were brimming with tears as she remained silent. Events like this were common around her, so she had gotten used to it. She just never thought that it would ever be her turn. She thought she would have a better life in the future once a powerful figure took a liking to her. However, she could not escape her fate. She was dragged away by the guards like a lowly dog.
At that moment, a few waves of force came from the private room upstairs and sent the guards flying. They crashed toward the wall, which immediately collapsed.
There were many living beings in the foyer, and none of them dared spoke up in the face of the Stone Race’s general. As this was the Stone Realm, no one dared antagonize the Stone Race. Now, however, someone had intervened. Was this not tantamount to disrespect toward the Stone Race?
