Deshawn stepped forward and smiled brightly. “You must be joking, Wyot. How could we possibly try to kill you after you saved us earlier?”

He spoke enthusiastically as if the two of them were good friends. James smiled faintly in response.

They made a wise choice to leave him alone. Although James was injured, his wounds were not fatal. Thus, he could easily kill anyone that tried to touch him.

“Is it possible for you to break the formation, Wyot?” asked Yente.

James replied, “Of course, but it’ll take some time.”
