“What do you think is Thea’s background?” asked James.

Sienna rolled her eyes and said, “How would I know? I hoped you’d marry me after the wedding ceremony as well. Who would’ve expected such a turn of events?”

Sienna always remembered James’ promise to take her as his wife. Even though she would not be his only wife, she was willing to endure it.
