Saachi made a considerate suggestion to James.
Since she strongly discouraged the idea, James no longer insisted on following her to the Daemonium Sect.
James looked at Saachi and said, “If that’s the case, I’ll head to the Theos Sect and cultivate there. By the way, we’ll be meeting again, right?”
Unsure of her fate, Saachi gently shook her head in response.
“It’s best we don’t see each other anymore. In the future, I might become a ruthless person who won’t hold back against anyone. I’ve never had any real friends in my life. You might just be the only friend I’ve had. I’d like to cherish this friendship in my memories.”
Saachi disappeared from James’ sight, but her voice resounded in the area.
“Thank you for saving me. If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have survived. I’m really grateful that you’ve accompanied me these several Epochs. It’s time we go our separate ways. We might never meet again. I don’t have much, but I’d like to give you the Aeternus Mantra.
“Although the Aeternus Mantra isn’t comparable to the Theos Sect’s Forbidden Art, it’s still a well-known signature skill in the Endlos’ Nine Districts. The Aeternus District’s powerhouses are after the Aeternus Mantra, so you must be careful in the future. Don’t recklessly use it in front of opponents. If you ever do, you mustn’t let any eyewitnesses live.”
Saachi’s voice gradually dissipated.
James took the book floating before him, looked in the direction where Saachi left, and murmured, “I have a feeling we’ll meet again. I wonder what will become of you when we meet in the future. I hope you don’t let hatred destroy your conscience.”
