James interrupted her, “We shouldnʼt act rashly. Saachiʼs information may be outdated since she has been away from the Aeternus District for a very long time. The Aeternus Sect might have gained new members or grown more powerful in some way. We should investigate before deciding on our next move.”

Although James claimed to be helping Saachi with her plans of revenge, James’ real intention was to gain control over the Aeternus Sect.

Even though James was not the strongest cultivator amongst them, his friends nonetheless regarded him as the leader of their group. None of them voiced any opposition to his suggestion.
