Xezal said sorrowfully, “Emperor Raiah sacrificed his soul to injure the Extraterrestrial Demon’s Commander. Even Wynne sacrificed himself to hurt one of the Three Extraterrestrial Demon Leaders.
“Back then, we also had countless powerhouses. One after another, they rushed to the depths of the Endlos to fight. Yet, they lost their lives protecting the Endlos from Extraterrestrial Demons. You didn’t experience it, so you don’t understand what it was like.”
James remained indifferent to her. From his point of view, Xezal merely wanted to resurrect her deceased father. He would be willing to help if the cost of reviving the former Endlos Lord was insignificant. However, Xezal planned to release the sealed Extraterrestrial Demons to resurrect her father. He could not stand by and watch countless powerhouses forced into battle and die for her goal.
“I understand. When the day comes, I will take up my weapon and protect my home. Please leave.”
James requested her to leave the manor.
Xezal silently stood up and left.
After Xezal was gone, everyone’s tensed hearts were finally relieved.
James asked curiously, “Waleria, you’re from the Endlos’ Nine Districts, right? Do you know what happened to the Endlos’ Ten Districts back then? How did the Chaos District’s Leader die?”
Waleria shook her head and said, “How would I know? I wasn’t even born yet.”
“I can answer you.”
A voice came from outside the door. Then, a middle-aged man in a green robe walked into the manor.
Waleria immediately stood up and greeted, “Sir Sedris.”
