I try to help, but I think I'm so weak and Sergio keeps fighting too.

He kept attacking the pack without mercy, he looks so strong and filled with waves of anger and emotions, he can't stop to fight with all those werewolves that look so angry at him.

After the fight was ended all the packs are gone, and they leave me and Sergio, so Sergio take me to escape with him.

We sit in the near forest first, because this is a giant area, so we take a rest for a bit, and Sergio continues to stare at me, I had some wounds on my body, and because of that fight, some werewolves keep attacking me too.

Meanwhile, I started crying because the affairs between Romano and Kathleen, totally hurt me.

But then I realized, there is someone else who also loves him.

Someone who knows everything that he does and has been through with him.

Someone who knew how hard it is to live alone without any kind of support, to survive alone in the world, to be alone, and most of all, to have someone to rely on.

There is someone who knows all these things about him.

I slowly moved closer to the group of werewolves, I wanted to hear what Romano was saying to the group of wolves, I want to hear what they are talking about with each other.

Romano told them about me being his mate, that he would always defend and cherish me, and that he loved me, even when he is not mine.

The wolf pack listened to him attentively and looked at me, I could tell that they were surprised about my existence, probably because nobody else existed until now.

They didn't look angry or aggressive anymore, but they were curious about me and were listening to what Romano told them about me.

After the discussion was over, they began walking away and Romano came near me.

“We should leave now, don't be scared, I promise to never let anything bad happen to you.”

I couldn't believe it was Romano. He was the one who had deceived me, betrayed me, he had abandoned me, and he was trying to save himself.

Why was he doing all this? Why would he do all of these for me, why did he suddenly change? Why was he protecting me?

Maybe it's just another trick. Perhaps this is all a part of his plan.

I'm so confused and frustrated. I don't know what to feel, where I stood at the end, where I stood right now.

“Are you okay now, Irish?”

“Yes, thank you for saving me Romano, for protecting me and taking care of me.”

“No, Irish, I saved you because I love you, and I'm glad you are safe, I don't want anything to happen to you. I wish for you to be with me for the rest of your life.”

“Romano, I'll be forever grateful to you for what you've done, but I want something in return, and if I'm not mistaken, I know what it is.”

“What do you mean Irish?”

“If you truly love me, please give up your plans for Kathleen, give up your plans, and choose me, instead.”
