The Billionaire Alpha’s Contract Lover by Caesar Erickson novel Chapter 236

Chapter 236

As soon as Jackson mentioned Griffon, he felt a sharp pain all over his body, as if his bones had been pierced. His wolf howled within him.
He knew that Taya had sold herself to save his life, but he didn’t know that the person who had bought her was the Knight pack Alpha.
If he hadn’t taken her away from him that day, he would still be in the dark.
Jackson felt terrified at the thought of Griffon, who was even more powerful than him. There weren’t many wolves in this world that had that effect on him, but Alpha Knight was one of them. Griffon could ruin him with no effort at all, and wouldn’t even have to touch him.
He grabbed Harper’s hand again.
“Please, tell me where she is. If I can’t find her, I will go crazy…”
Harper looked at the irrational wolf and suddenly felt he was the same as when he discovered that Taya had sold herself after the car accident.
At that time, Silas was no longer as gentle as he used to be. He scolded and kissed Taya and was not like a normal person at all.

Now he was holding Harper’s hand with red, desperate wolf
eyes. He looked stubborn and crazy, which made her feel pity for him for a s
second.
She couldn’t help but ask him, “Since Taya is so important to you, why did you want to ki ll her five years ago?”
Jackson froze, his blood freezing. “I…tried to ki ll her?”
Seeing that he didn’t admit to what he had done, Harper put away her pity. “Five years ago, she went to find you for the last time, but you kicked her hard in the heart. If it weren’t for the fact that passers-by discovered her, she would have died on the side of the road. Don’t tell me that you didn’t do it or don’t remember it.”
No wonder Taya never came to see him again. It turned out that “he” almost kicked her to death.
Jackson curled his lips and smiled. The bitterness and helplessness in his smile made him more painful.
He slowly released Harper’s hand, held the doorframe, and slumped over in pain.
Seeing him like this, Harper frowned even more. “Are you going to sit here and wait for her to return?”
Jackson didn’t seem to have the strength to speak and could only nod slightly.
Harper knew he had been stubborn since childhood, and it was

useless to persuade him to leave, so she told him the truth cruelly.
“Every time Taya is taken away by Griffon, she won’t be able to return for at least two or three days. You can’t stay here forever, can you?”
Judging from his expression, he seemed to know whom Taya had sold herself to.
It didn’t matter if she told him.
There was nothing he could do when it came to Alpha Knight.
