The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 1025

Derek had that sinking feeling, the one you get right before disaster strikes.

Before he could intervene, Derek grabbed the microphone and shouted, "Ladies and gentlemen, please look this way!"

"This is my best friend, Brittany. She's stunning, has an amazing figure, and comes from a great family. Recently divorced, she's navigating life as a single mom!"

Hannah, not skipping a beat, laid out Brittany's 'requirements' for everyone: "If you're interested in my bestie, feel free to contact me! But let me warn you, she has high standards. You need to be at least six feet tall, have a clean background, and your net worth should be in the millions..."

Brittany's face turned beet red as she grabbed the microphone from Hannah and covered her mouth, "Stop, that's enough."

Hannah continued to struggle and mumble, but Brittany, face covered in embarrassment, dragged her off the stage. Derek caught Hannah, "Britt, I'm so sorry. She's had too much to drink."

"It's okay, just take her home, will you?"

The curious stares from the crowd made Brittany wish she could vanish on the spot.

If it weren't for her long-standing friendship with Hannah, she might have actually hit her!

Derek dragged a drunken Hannah away.

Feeling miserable, Brittany decided to drown her sorrows at the bar, spending over an hour with her drink. Eventually, she couldn't hold it any longer and headed to the restroom.

The restroom was nearly empty, and Brittany spent close to an hour inside before coming out.

No sooner had she taken a few steps than a man caught up to her, "Ms. Lynette, left Craneville for a love quest in Imperial City?"

Isaac narrowed his eyes. He couldn't believe Brittany would return to Imperial City, hit the bars, and practically hold a public auction for a date.

He was furious watching Hannah's matchmaking attempt on video, wishing he could tear it to shreds!

"Caspian?"

Brittany squinted, recognizing him, "What brings you to Imperial City?"

Isaac, smelling the alcohol on her, escorted her out of the bar, stuffed her into his car, and headed to a nearby hotel.

At the hotel, Isaac dumped Brittany on the bed, fetched a basin of warm water, and wiped the sweat from her body.

Brittany, half-asleep, her cheeks flushed pink, was irresistibly enchanting.

It had been ages since Isaac had spent real time with Brittany.

For the past six months, he had been living on memories, too scared to reveal his true feelings even when they met.
