The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 1107

Isaac was worried sick about Brittany.

After all, carrying a child was no walk in the park.

"It's okay."

Lately, Brittany's morning sickness had eased up a bit. Though still uncomfortable, it was a marked improvement from the beginning.

Isaac scooped her up and held her close. "I'm sorry."

It was his carelessness that had put her through this ordeal.

Brittany immediately covered his mouth. "Don't say that. I'm thrilled about the baby."

She paused. "I've forgotten a lot about the past. I don't remember how I felt when I was pregnant with Daniel, but I can imagine... I must have been so excited for her arrival."

Having grown up without a family, her ultimate dream had always been to have a complete one.

Isaac felt a pang of sadness and hugged her tighter. "Pregnancy is tough, and I feel terrible for not being able to ease your burden."

But Brittany didn't see it that way. "It's hard, true, but I'm happy."

Her eyes shone with sincerity. "Zak, I've never been happier than I am now. Every day, I look forward to our child's birth, no matter if it's a boy or girl. I'll give them all the love I can."

Isaac kissed her forehead, his heart melting. "Come home with me tonight."

"But, Dad—"

"I've missed you so much these past few days. I worked overtime just to make it to this dinner. I haven't slept in over twenty hours."

Seeing his weary expression, Brittany relented. "Okay."
