"Can you please give Twila another chance?"
The line went dead as the other party hung up. Hestia tried calling back, only to find out she was blocked.
Twila was still recuperating.
Hestia couldn't bear to let her know what had happened, so she racked her brain and decided to approach Eltham.
"Is there any way Twila can continue her education at Star Elementary School?"
Eltham, already briefed, replied, "She's accused of intentionally harming someone. The Lynette Conglomerate has filed a lawsuit against Star Elementary School. The school has to take responsibility."
Was it Brittany's doing?
Hestia’s fists clenched involuntarily. "Why would Ms. Lynette go to such lengths?"
"Twila has already suffered enough. Why does Ms. Lynette keep pushing?"
Brittany had the world at her fingertips, her wishes were commands.

"But Twila is your daughter too—” Hestia broke down.
"Or is it that you’re willing to sacrifice Twila’s future to appease Ms. Lynette?"
Hestia bit her lip. "Have you ever thought about how heartbroken Twila would be if she found out?"
Since attending Star Elementary School, Twila had blossomed, shedding her previous timidness. She deserved the best education!
"Then why did she hurt Bri's child?"
Eltham countered, "Hestia, you're a mother too. If someone harmed Twila, would you let them off?"
Of course not!
"So how can you expect Bri to forgive her?"
Hestia was incredulous. "But you're Twila’s father—"
