"Yeah, no one in the whole Imperial City wants to touch this lawsuit anymore."
Brittany's recent behavior had certainly drawn a lot of attention and pissed off quite a few people. The Dustin family had put the word out, and a lot of people were fanning the flames behind her back, so she couldn’t find a decent lawyer for the moment.
Isaac didn’t expect Robert to be so sneaky behind his back. He gently picked her up and headed for the bedroom. "Let's call it a day and go get some sleep."
Brittany responded with her legs tightly wrapped around his waist, "Alright."
After a busy day, Brittany was indeed exhausted.
After she fell asleep, Isaac got out of bed, went to the living room, and called Wesley. "Do me a favor."
Wesley woke up from a dream, looking puzzled. "What's up?"
"Find a lawyer to take Brittany's case."
"You called me in the middle of the night for this?" Wesley was somewhat confused. Was getting woken up in the middle of the night for this even reasonable?
"Yep. Be careful; don't let her find out."
Isaac hung up the phone, went back to the bedroom, held Brittany, and gradually fell asleep.
Wesley, who was woken up, couldn’t fall back asleep.
The woman in his arms asked, "Mr. Tueley, what’s going on?"
"Nothing; Mr. Salter’s just lost his marbles." Wesley rolled his eyes in annoyance. He was a light sleeper and once he was woken up, he could not get back to sleep.
The woman chuckled, "Well, Mr. Tueley, let's continue then."
Wesley turned over, and they resumed their fun.
Indeed, no law firm in Imperial City was willing to take on the case anymore.
Gianna seemed to have confirmed that Brittany couldn’t find anyone to take the case and even came to her doorstep with an attitude completely different from before.
"Drop the lawsuit."
Without a lawyer, Brittany could not stir up any trouble.
"No way."
Even without a lawyer, she wouldn't drop the lawsuit.
Gianna’s face darkened. "Then just wait to lose face. I’d like to see how you fight this case with no lawyer!"
After Gianna left, Brittany fell into deep thought, if no one in Imperial City was willing to take the case, what about other places?
During this difficult time, Brittany received a call from Wesley. "Come out."
"Mr. Tueley, do you need something?"
