The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 171

He paused momentarily, then reached out his hand, "Hi there, Mr. Salter."

They exchanged glances. Evidently, neither intended to expose the other's real identity.

Seeing them greet each other, Brittany breathed a sigh of relief, "Please, have a seat."

They all sat down.

Derek, who had been waiting on the sidelines, suddenly choked up.

Wasn't this supposed to be an awkward moment? What’s going on?

William glanced at Derek, a warning in his eyes. This dinner wasn't a simple one.

He wasn't a fool. From Derek's reaction last night, he could tell he had seen Brittany before.

Now that he was here, he must have some ulterior motive.

"Mr. Derek, want to join us for dinner?"

Brittany extended the invitation.

Derek wouldn't refuse, "Sure."

He wanted to see what kind of charm Brittany had that made them all care so much.

Brittany naturally sat next to Isaac, and the waiter brought the menu over; she passed it to William, "William, your order."

William had no appetite, but he couldn't let it show. He ordered a few dishes, all of which Brittany liked.

After he ordered, he turned to Isaac, a challenge in his eyes, "Mr. Salter, anything else you’d like to add?"

Isaac understood William's implication, "No need. As long as Bri is happy, it's all good."

William then looked at Derek, "What about you?"

Derek always felt like his little movements were being noticed. He awkwardly shrunk his neck, "I’ll have some too."

Brittany poured a cup of coffee for Isaac and pushed it to his side, "Did you finish your work at the company?"

"Yep, all done."

Isaac grabbed her wrist, his fingertips against her wrist, gently rubbing it, "It seems like you guys had a good chat."

He was a little irritated.

Brittany felt his displeasure and tried to pull away, but he held her firm.

Looked like he was jealous.
