The Billionaire Who Stole My Heart novel Chapter 196

Isaac owned a ton of properties and made a killing in real estate years ago. He had barely visited most of his properties, and even his main residence was managed by Nathan, so he had never really had to lift a finger.

He never got why people would do stuff they could just throw money at. But ever since he met Brittany, he seemed to be more willing to invest time.

"Okay, we'll decorate it to your taste." Isaac said.

"No, I think you prefer a more minimalist style. I'll ask my college friends to draft a design for us to follow when decorating. That would be better." Brittany said.

Brittany was very observant. She noticed that Isaac tended to lean towards a minimalist style.

Isaac was clearly pleased with her response and said, "Sure."

When they returned home from Star River Apartment, Brittany was still super excited. She called up Hannah, hoping to share the good news.

But Hannah could only respond with frustration, "Bri, babe, I'm swamped right now. You enjoy your lovey-dovey time with Mr. Salter, and I'll catch up with you once I'm done."

Isaac heard her and grinned. Looked like Nathan's arrangements were on point.

After hanging up, Hannah looked at the pile of paperwork on her desk, then at Nathan, "Is Mr. Salter trying to get back at me?"

Why would he pile this much work on her then?

Nathan placed the documents on the desk, looking serious, "We don't question Mr. Salter's arrangements. We just follow them."

Hannah was speechless. Seriously, Isaac? Just because she was up chatting with Brittany until late, she deserved this kind of punishment?

When would she ever get through all these papers?

Nathan gave Hannah a sympathetic glance. After all, she upset Mr. Salter.

Hannah worked until midnight. Exhausted, she poured herself a cup of coffee, gulped down half of it, but still felt overwhelmed.
