The door was kicked open.
Brittany heard footsteps, and assuming it was Finn and his gang, she immediately grabbed a vase nearby, ready to strike first.
Isaac felt a wave of dizziness, then grabbed Brittany's wrist. The vase in her hand fell to the ground.
Crash!
Shards flew everywhere.
A familiar masculine scent hit her. Brittany looked up.
"Zakky."
She recognized the visitor and breathed a sigh of relief, her small hands tightly wrapped around his neck, her breathing somewhat rapid.
"Thank God it's you."
Thank God, it wasn't Finn. If she had to fall into someone's hands, Isaac was the best choice.
After all, this wasn't their first run-in.
Isaac held her waist, feeling her abnormal body temperature. "Did they drug you?"
Brittany couldn't speak, drenched in cold sweat.
"Damn it!"
He placed Brittany in the tub, turned on the shower head, and let cold water pour down. Brittany trembled subconsciously, her small hands tightly gripping the edge of the tub, her knuckles turning white.
Splash—
Brittany’s phone fell into the tub and was completely ruined.
Isaac took out his phone, left the bathroom, and called Nathan.
"Find a reliable doctor."
Nathan, thinking Isaac was hurt, said, "Mr. Salter, are you injured?"
"Not me."
